It's unfortunate that you don't have the funds. How do I increase period size in google docs? To select all in Windows, press Ctrl+A. To select all in macOS, press ⌘ Command + A. To select all on a mobile phone or tablet, tap and hold any part of the text, then tap Select All.
I created a new Google doc on my iPad2. When I select all to copy the whole contents, it only selects the current line.
Is there a known workaround for this?

Try putting the google docs into desktop mode. Click the Desktop link at the bottom of the page.
Voice to text software for mac. View in: Mobile | Desktop
Then select edit menu in Google docs then 'Select all'
